Valerian Benazeth
I am just finishing a thesis in political science at the University of Paris-Saclay on desistance: the mechanisms that lead to terminate a criminal career.
I studied and taught for two years in the United States where I became interested in various learning methods at the University of Texas in El Paso, and then at Williams College in Massachusetts.
I have been teaching political science, sociology, and preparing students for competitive exams in English since 2015 at university, and I am particularly interested in the knowledge, techniques, and resources that facilitate learning.
To this end, I organized with the help of one of my professors, Thierry Leterre, a first seminar at my university on pedagogical methods in higher education.
Upon completion of the dissertation, I plan to resume these activities and continue to accumulate and exchange stimulating knowledge in this area.
